So picture this scene.
Summer is coming, you've been going to the gym all winter to perfect that summer body - or maybe you haven't, either way, I'm not judging! You've started to look at potential summer outfits and, like me, already started to collect key pieces for your summer wardrobe (however if you live in England I wouldn't rush, it will probably rain tomorrow). Anyway, you've discussed festival and holiday plans with your mates, but no one could get their act together in time and now everything is sold out... or so you thought!
I'm here with my go-to festivals this summer, some you may or may not have heard of. They all have wicked line ups, are scattered around the globe, and most importantly still have tickets! So assemble the squad, grab your coins (and potentially your passports), and book those tickets once and for all. You only live once right?
1. Hangout Festival, Friday 18th - Sunday 20th May 2018 (+ a kickoff party on Thursday 17th May 2018)
Where? Gulf Shores, Alabama, USA
What? A weekend on a beach in Alabama,showcasing the finest music from a variety of genres
If? You want to hear good music, relax on a hammock beach, and potentially leave with some new ink, Hangout has it all
Confirmed Acts? Kendrick Lamar, Noname, The Killers, Logic and SZA are just a few of the many acts performing across the weekend

2. Primavera Sound, Wednesday 30th May - Sunday 3rd June 2018
Where? Barcelona, Spain, EU
What? An unmistakable line up for all generations; strongly influenced by rock, pop and underground dance music
If? You want an excuse to spend five days partying in the sun, and the chance to see a few surprise acts on a new, 'hidden' stage, book your flights now!
Confirmed Acts? HAIM, A$AP Rocky, The Internet, and Arctic Monkeys just to name a few

3. Summerburst, Friday 15th June - Saturday 16th June 2018
Where? Stockholm, Sweden, EU
What? An upbeat, electronic music festival with mesmerising stage production and a high octane atmosphere
If? You fancy cutting shapes in a new country, Summerburst will provide the perfect sound track to do so!

4. Hideout 2018, Monday 25th June - Friday 29th June 2018
Where? Island of Pag, Croatia, EU
What? The biggest names in electronic music together, across five packed festivals days - with parties lasting until the early hours of the morning
If? You want to party on a beach, a boat, and in a new secret location, you better just book your flight now
Confirmed Acts? Chase and Status, David Rodigan, Gorgon City and a ton more

5. Parklife, Saturday 9th June - Sunday 10th June 2018
Where? Manchester, UK
What? One of the UK's most popular and diverse music festivals, featuring a range of genres such as indie, hip-hop, electronic and alternative to just name a few
If? You have a vast and varied taste in music, Parklife is the place to find your new favourite artist
Confirmed Acts? Look forward to seeing sets from Annie Mac, Giggs, The XX and Skepta, as well as a funfair, magicians and cabaret acts
Ticket Price? Single tickets start from £65 a day, with VIP tickets available for only £20 more
6. Roskilde Festival, Saturday 30th June - Saturday 7th July 2018
Where? Roskilde, Denmark, EU
What? The largest North European culture and music festival, boasting a line up to suit everyone - no matter how large the friendship group and varied the music taste
If? You want to camp out abroad for a week, in a *hopefully* less muddy environment than Reading/Leeds festival, and have an experience like no other, this is the place for you.
Confirmed Acts? Eminem, Khalid, Nine Inch Nails, The Gorillaz and more will be spread throughout the course of the week
Ticket Price? Unfortunately, only Saturday tickets are available, and can be bought for £126.22 here - alternatively you could apply to volunteer at the event in order to get free entry, although you will be 'working', it would totally be worth it
7. Lovebox 2018, Friday 13th July - Saturday 14th July 2018
Where? London, UK
What? A diverse music festival in the heart of West London, featuring some of the biggest names in music right now
If? You want to try hip-hop karaoke, or potentially disco golf, while also hearing your favourite artists, Lovebox is the spot to be at this summer
Confirmed Acts? Skepta, SZA, Childish Gambino and N.E.R.D are just a few of the headliners over the weekend
Ticket Price? Single day tickets start from just £59.50, book yours quickly as Lovebox tends to sell out every year!
8. Longitude 2018, Friday 13th July, Sunday 15th July 2018
Where? Dublin, Ireland
What? A festival in Ireland, with it's current line up celebrating the hottest names in rap, hip-hop and rnb
If? You want to go to a concert and see some of the biggest names in hip-hop and rnb, who are popping as we speak, this is definitely the place to be!
Confirmed Acts? J.Cole, Migos, Travis Scott and Solange are just a selection of the headliners across this three day festival
Ticket Price? Only Sunday tickets are available - but in my opinion that is the best day! Prices start from €69.50 and can be purchased here
9. Woohah, Friday 13th July - Sunday 15th July 2018
Where? Beekse Bergen, The Netherlands, EU
What? A strictly hip-hop festival for all of your rap fanatics out there
If? You have longed for a concert featuring rap and only rap, then your prayers have been answered!
Confirmed Acts? 6Lack, Goldlink and Yxng Bane are just a few of the many rappers taking to the stage over the weekend
Ticket Price? Camping tickets have now sold out, but tickets excluding camping start from €99 and day tickets are also available
10. Lollapalooza, Thursday 2nd August - Sunday 5th August 2018
Where? Chicago, USA
What? 8 stages and 170+ bands to get you through an epic weekend of good music
If? You want to hear good music, visit unique art markets, buy merch or if you have a little one to bring along for the mini-fest - Lollapalooza is an experience like no other, with a range of music to suit everyone's tastes
Confirmed Acts? Headliners include The Arctic Monkeys, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd and Jack White
